100% Rescue

Another friday, I sort of feel like this week has gone by relatively quickly, which is always nice and Claire will be here this evening so that's great. I had planned on waking up early this morning (seeing as it is my free day) to get some things done, but still couldn't get myself up before ten thirty. Thus far I've been to the bank and grocery store and showered and it's not even one o'clock so I would still venture to say I'm doing well.

Last night I got to chat with some friends, which is always good, and received some emails from people I hadn't talked to in awhile. The only bad thing about all of that is that it seems like everyone wants to write or chat in Spanish now. Which is fine for them, but for me I just love to have those precious five minutes of freedom where thoughts, phrases, and grammar flow easily from my mind to my fingertips and proof reading is something I've never heard of before :P All in all talking with old friends is always a great thing to get the chance to do.

The other night....wednesday, Rocio, PĂlli, and I made the spur of the moment decision to drive thirty minutes to Alcazar and see El Intercambio (the Changeling). About the movie itself, well, it was good but in the way that The Green Mile is good....I don't really know how to explain, I am glad that this woman's story is being shared but it is just so sad. The movie theater itself was really nice and the movie theater guy was actually very helpful. When we got to the door (we were a tiny bit late) he led us in with a flashlight and showed us where we could all sit together, then later he came in and told a boy in the front row to put his feet down (I don't know that he was necessarily bothering anyone, but all the same). The rest of the night all three of us were pretty quiet due to the mood the movie leaves you in.

Pilar will be back next week so I wont have any more free days (they were nice while they lasted) and Mom will be here in just over three weeks (I'm not at all excited ;P ). Well, I've got to clean up some before Claire gets here so I'll be off!
